Video of car running This listing is for a very nice 2001 Pontiac Firebird convertible. This car is very clean. Originally from Texas so no winters. This is a V6 automatic that is loaded with options. Leather Monsoon Stereo Power everything including top. Chrome factory wheels Cruise control AC Tilt wheel Anti lock brakes Power seats This car also has the highly desired V6 Performance Package from the factory. This included limited slip 3.42 rear end, dual outlet exhaust, faster steering gear. This option really wakes up the V6 engine. The car has 128,770 miles . Starts, runs and drives great. Transmission shifts as it should. The engine has great oil pressure showing over 60 pounds at idle.The engine does have a faint tick in it. Not sure, but it sounds like a lifter or rocker tick. I have heard this sound on many of these engines. It does not seem to cause any issue. Only at idle. I just like to be up front about condition. I took a video so that you can hear it yourself. Tires are fair. Brakes in front are new. Has all new plugs and wires. Top is in good shape. The rear window has been repaired at some point. Interior is in very good shape. The only issue I noticed is the small tear in the drivers side seat bolster. Again a common issue on these cars. The exterior is in very nice shape. The paint is original and shines nicely. The color is the very nice and somewhat rare Pewter Metallic. There are a few small dents and paint scratches that you would expect on a 13 year old car. Nothing major. This car will make someone a very nice inexpensive toy. The car is sold with a bill of sale. I do have a title from Texas that was signed over to me. I will include this title with a notarized CT Q1 form which is for assignment of title when it is not in the sellers name. This is all that is required in CT.
