Vehicle Detail
For Sale is a 1929 Ford Model A Coupe Old School Hot Rod - The top has been chopped 2 inches. It has a rebuilt 1964 283 with an Edelbrock manifold and a 4 bbl carb ( Holley) running through a 39 Ford Transmission and an early Ford rear. F1 Drum brakes all around that work great. Stainless steering column hooked to a aftermarket Vega steering box with cross steering that drives straight with no bump steer. Hands off the wheel it goes straight and stops straight - Very nice driving car. The body was painted at a professional body shop in Hot Rod Flatz Powder Blue. The Model A frame was boxed and it has a I beam dropped axle in front and reverse eye spring in the rear. The whole firewall was recessed about 3 1/2 inches (see pics) and looks great. Original Pontiac tail lights. I have the glass for the quarter and back windows that has been cut down - the garnish moldings need to be cut down. The front windshield tilts out and has new glass installed. It has MGA buckets seats that tilt forward and have been recovered in blue pleats and cream as has the top. I have the cardboard panels new in a box for the interior and and enough material for that and the trunk. Also have the matching welting to trim around the top. It has a round aluminum gas tank in the trunk ( 7 gals I think) It is just a great looking and driving old style hot rod! I have the garnish moldings for the doors and vertical ones for the front windshield posts as well as the piece that goes above the dash that are painted the same blue. It also comes with new window regulators and a electric trunk lift mechanism that I got from Speedway Motors that need to be installed. Was going to paint the dash the same off white as the firewall and wheels - just did not get to it. Will include the paint as well as some left over blue for touch up if you ever need it. The car is sold as is where is and I will not ship it. A $500.00 dollar deposit is required within 24 hours of auction end with the balance paid within seven days of auction end in cash, certified bank check or wire transfer. Car does not leave my possession until all payments have cleared my bank. If you have any questions send me your phone number and I will call you back. I love this car but just bought my dream hot rod and so it must go. Have a great day!!
