1941 Chevrolet 2 Door Coupe Exterior is black paint with clear coat and the interior is a medium doeskin. LS1 Corvette performance engine – low mileage 700R automatic transmission 9 inch positive traction rear end 4 wheel power disc brakes Rack and pinion power steering Dual cooling system Air conditioning – Tilt steering – Power windows – Stereo – All electronic gauges I purchased this car March 27, 2007 and it took two years to restore. This car is worthy of the big name auctions – people sit up and take notice when it is being driven. It is impossible to name all the things that have been done to restore it. I’ve been collecting and restoring cars for over 50 years and this car is the purist and nicest one I’ve built. This car was a military WW II era car and was military green. It didn’t have one speck of rust and there weren’t any dents on the body. It was purchased as military surplus. I have the original body plate (still green). We did a complete rotisserie restoration. Completely striped every piece in and out from the body, cleaned, primed and painted each body part before installing it. I wanted the exterior to be original with a new drive train. The only thing changed on the outside was the one piece windshield. (The old style was bad to leak and see out.) All chrome was original except I added deluxe bumper guard and rails. The stainless was buffed and all chrome re-plated. Windshield wipers, trunk hinges, trunk latch and door handles are all ‘41 Chevrolet. The hood ornament is glass filled “Flying Lady”, extremely hard to find. The interior is soft “alter-leather” with original ‘41 seats, arm rest and pearl knobs. The wheels are authentic mid-thirties Chevrolet large spoke wire wheels (re-chromed – of course). It runs and drives like a new car and it’s worthy for long cross country trips.
