Family History With Car: Purchased approximately 4 years ago for new driver. Vehicle had approximately 114,000 miles on it. The Driver moved into Philadelphia area and titled car in their name. On August 15, 2014, the car was up for re-inspection and failed for front axle. I took over ownership of car and re-titled in New Jersey. I have run the car for approximately two months and put about 3,000 miles on the vehicle. I drive the car every other day and put at least 50 miles on it when I drive it. Condition of the Car: The vehicle passed emissions in PA and again in New Jersey within one month. The NJ sticker is valid until September 2016 for any New Jersey owner. The Vehicle needs front axles, left and right. The CV joints make clicking sound on sharp turns. The Driver's side electric window does not work. The transmission shifts perfectly when warm. When cold, the transmission is slow to shift from 3rd to 4th. Car runs 3000 RPM at 50 miles per hour when cold. Recommended Repairs: Replace the transmission fluid. Replace the left and right front axles. Conclusion: This car is far to valuable to take to the Junk Yard. The engine does not leak, the power steering has the typical drip, and the transmission seems to have lots of life in it. I believe the car will make 200,000 miles with the recommended repairs. I have prayed about what to do with this car, I believe there is someone out there who needs this car and would be blessed by it.
