1970 Chevy Impala. Great original and solid car begging for an easy restoration. Car is a solid driver now, so drive while you restore if you choose. Southern car it's whole life. Comes with build sheet, orig sales sheet and Georgia assembly plant delivery to dealer info. Most of the car's options are for go fast, handling and stopping. READ the awesome build sheet. DRIVETRAIN- L-48 350, completely original and unmolested. At 300hp, that's 40 more than the bigger 400ci motor. Top of the line optional Turbo 400 transmission. Performance suspension option upgrade. Front disk brakes, factory dual exhaust, factory rally wheels. MORE. Basically built like a Chevelle SS in an Impala skin. Car runs and drives out VERY smoothly. A/C is 100% complete and intact, looks like never touched. I think it needs a compressor clutch, easy fix. Original air cleaner. BODY- Very solid, very straight. Has only minor rust, overall very solid body. Some Southern cars stay solid, some rust out. The bottom of the front fenders have some spots, the front of the rear quarters (only at the front corners) have small spot. The rust does not go up into either the fenders or quarters beyond the spots. Front left fender had a dent that was mostly pounded out. It did not compromise the gaps at either the door or hood. Easy fix, I say it does not need to be replaced. No rust in engine bay what so ever. Hood and deck lid have some rust up and under the lip on the underneath. You can not see it when they are closed. All doors shut snug and tight. Hood and deck lid shut tightly. Glass is all very nice. Brand new vinyl top. It was put on before I got it and it looks like it was done very well. I see no signs of rust about the vinyl top. Car has all of the window stainless trim and vinyl top trim in excellent condition to go with car. Underneath is very solid and looks great. Trunk has no rust in it, ready to re-spatter paint. Car needs fresh paint for sure, orig is very tired. Car is a metallic gray, almost like a pewter, great color with the black top and interior. INTERIOR- Black. 100% there and original. Has minor needs, needs headliner. Orig is sagging with split seams, bows are there. Rear seat at top has sun damage. Drive's bench is showing some age but useable. Dash pad has couple of small cracks but the car comes with a PERFECT dash pad. Gauge pod is very nice. Door panels are very nice. Steering wheel is nice with only couple cracks. Wipers, lights, horn, blower motor all work. Radio wants to but only makes noise. Needs carpet of course. Odometer shows 66k and it could be original, car is not worn out. Really a nice solid car. Do something else different from the NO SMOG era. Car is sold with a State of Georgia Bill of Sale. No title. State of Ga does not require titles previous to 1984. Deposit is due in 24 hours. Full balance in 72 hours. Under 10 bids you may be deleted, under 100% feedback you may be deleted. Needs headliner but all pieces and parts are there, old one the seams came apart All stainless front/back window & vinyl top trim is there and in very nice original condition. Spare tire & rim are original. Bias ply tire has never been on the ground. Brakes feel fine. Those are answers to questions I've been asked. Let me know if you have any?
