The stated auction terms must be observed to maintain this guarantee. This is a 1984 BMW 733i, with the factory 5-speed transmission. This is the first 7-series BMW I have ever seen with a manual transmission, which adds quite a of fun quotient to this car. This BMW was traded in by the second owner, who purchased this car in 1985 with 16k miles. The odometer reads 141k, but isn’t working and this car is mileage exempt due to its age. The title is clean and clear. We haven’t had one of these cars in a long time, and this one is in great shape considering its age and mileage. Except for a wash and vacuum, you are seeing this car exactly the way we got it. This 733 is far from show car condition, but it does run and drive nicely. All power windows are working, as does the power sunroof, power seats and climate control fan. There is no radio. I’m not as familiar with a vintage BMW as an enthusiast might be, but I drove this 733 for some errands and I’ll tell you everything we know about it: The exterior paint is faded and scratched etc. There are various small rust spots, mostly on the wheel well lips. There aren’t any noticeable dents. The bumpers are not banged up and are in decent shape. The wheels are also in good shape. The interior is in very good condition. The leather shows normal wear, but is still in great shape. Other than split seams on the back of the rear headrests, all of the leather surfaces are in good condition without any holes or damage. The carpeting is clean, fluffy and in great condition. The interior trim is also in good condition throughout this car. There aren’t any smoke odors or burn marks inside this car, and there aren’t any musty odors either. The whole driveline in this car feels solid. The engine runs very well. It starts easily, runs strong and smoothly. The transmission shifts nicely, and the clutch engages smoothly with lots of grab. There aren’t any leak spots under this car where it has been parked. The tires and brake pads are all showing a good amount of life. The oil & filter were changed this week. I don’t know of anything that would prevent someone from picking up this car and driving it home. With a little bit of TLC, this car should be capable of use as an everyday driver. REGISTRATION, TITLES & FEES: Out of state purchasers do not pay any Pennsylvania sales tax. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction, which will cover document fees and preparation, notarizations, and courier costs. Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $60, which will provide valid registration for a period of 30 days. In order to obtain this tag, please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own. Titles are available to the buyer immediately upon full irrevocable payment, which is performed by bank wire transfer or cash in person. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared our bank. Occasionally, a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration until the title is received. All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day for cars, and more for trucks and larger vehicles depending on size. (Storage charges will not apply to vehicles scheduled for pickup by a transporter). We will try to exercise some flexibility to accommodate special requests regarding our terms, if they are placed before the auction ends. We also sell vehicles locally and reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.
