We are told by the City that these vehicles were all just recently retired/replaced all within the last few to several months. We, the listing broker, as with ANY mechanical item we list for others would just recommend a general maintenance and good washing & cleaning to get the road dust and dirt off. You are buying this vehicle “AS IS”, No Warranty – No Guarantee – Based on the AUTOCHECK Website and/or Tag within the door, it is a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police / Sedan 4D Vin: 2FAHP71W07X133451 4.6L V8 EFI Engine Four Speed Automatic Transmission The Heater is working order and the A/C was last known to be in working order. The day of the pictures it was 34 degrees outside and we were unable to check the A/C. As you will tell by the SUPERSIZED Pictures by Clicking on them DOWN IN THE LISTING, this vehicle does have some rust all over in various places, along with dents and scratches. The Miles as of 10-27-2014 were 119715 and the hours are N/A Tires on the back and front tires have a good amount tread life left The KNOWN Issue with this vehicle to the “DRIVE” part of the transmission does not work. The Reverse DOES Work. As to what is wrong we do not know if it is electronic or mechanical This vehicle did Not start on its own WITHOUT A BATTERY JUMP at the day of pictures, as to the condition and life remaining in the battery(s) is unknown or if they will start this vehicle on extremely cold days without replacing the battery. Once it was started is sounded like a typical, normal running engine with no major noises. You will have to Trailer this back home and use the REVERSE to drive it up onto your trailer. The Wadsworth City Garage has always maintained these vehicles while they were in operation, with everything from general routine maintenance to repairs if any were needed. They do not know of any other issues other than what they have instructed us to list for it. Because it is a “retired/decommissioned” vehicle, the City of Wadsworth NOR the Listing eBay Broker can NOT offer any guarantees or warranties with the purchase of this item!! We are told that the Reverse is fine in the transmission but the DRIVE/Forward is OUT. Overall they say that the engine is fine, but not sure if it is Electrical or Mechanical with the Transmission.
