Vehicle Detail

I purchased this Sequoia on ebay in 2005, with 17,000 miles. It was a Theft Recovery and had suffered heat and smoke damage to the interior as a result of a fire started by the thief. There was no damage to the body (all sheet metal has the factory VIN#'s). All glass was intact. Repairs included replacement of the seats, carpet, plastic interior parts, inside door panels, headliner, and some other small parts. The seats were upgraded from cloth to leather, and a factory roof rack and trailer hitch (with factory wiring harness) were installed. 17" factory wheels replaced the 16" . Back-up sensors were installed, and faux wood trim was added. The brakes have been upgraded to drilled and vented rotors, with ceramic pads. Tires have been replaced within the last 500 miles. The 2nd row seats were rarely used, and the 3rd row seats were in storage until the vehicle was listed for sale. At about 60,000 miles, a TRD Supercharger was installed, along with a TRD permanent air filter. The Sequoia will run fine on mid-grade gasoline when driven moderately. Spirited driving will require premium grade gas. We have several vehicles, and the Sequoia was used primarily for road trips, and occasional towing. It will tow at least 4,000 pounds without effort. It has not been driven aggressively, and has received scheduled maintenance. It runs fine. This vehicle is still in use, and the mileage will increase slightly before the end of the auction. Here are the known flaws: There are some scrapes on the bumper covers, and a repair has been started on the front bumper cover. The rear tailgate window is inoperable. I have purchased a new window motor, but it has not been installed. The front seats are starting to show some signs of wear. There are no rips or tears. The windshield has had a dime-sized chip since 2005. It is out of the range of sight, and the windshield will pass TX State inspection. My starting price is less than the cost of a new supercharger (if you can find one), plus the cost of installation. I would like $500 paid within 48 hours of the conclusion of the auction, and the balance paid by wire, cash or certified funds before the vehicle is released. If you have any questions, send me a email, and I will try to answer them. Thanks for viewing my auction, and good luck bidding.
