Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is a 1930 Ford model A Tudor sedan. It is an older restoration. The paint is scratched here and there, it has a few dents, the transmission has a small drip, the speedometer doesn't work, and the horn doesn't work. The dark brown paint has good gloss overall but there are scratches and scuffs. The black paint on the fenders is cracked in places, not from bondo but it looks like too much hardener in the paint. Now for the good- It starts right up with absolutely no hesitation and runs and idles smooth as silk. It drives down the road just as an 84 year old car should. Tires are all in great shape and all match. The seats are the correct mohair and the interior looks great. The headlights work, the parking lights work, and the brake and tail light works. Even the dash courtesy light works. The brakes have been converted to hydraulic at one point and the booster is mounted underneath the car to maintain a stock appearance. The amp gauge doesn't work but it has to be charging as I have been driving this car every weekend for over 2 years and I've never had to jump it. I bought this car out of a sealed garage a few years ago from the son of the gentleman whom has owned it since the late 70s. It had been sitting still for nearly 10 years. I added several parts to get it back in running order such as points, condenser, plug straps, new 6 volt battery and cables, and a safety main power switch. I've had fun with this car for a few years now and I'm ready to let it go as im wanting to get into a 50s model Ford pickup. I have a clear title in hand. I will say that the Tennessee license plate on the rear is NOT included in the auction. Car needs to be paid for within 1 week of auctions end and arrangements need to be made within 2 weeks to pick it up. You can view the car anytime you like at my shop, just drop me an email. And ask any questions you may have PRIOR to bidding. I've tried to list everything I can think of honestly, but please ask any questions you may have. Thanks for looking!
