Family owned 1971 Chev short box pick up auto trans driver, diamond in the tough, it needs resto. but pretty darn solid for being 45 years old. I'm told it has a doner vintage V8 350 bored out to 60 over? I have no idea what that means, only that is has an Idlebrock high rise intake with new 4 bbl carb and air cleaner. I do know that the engine and bay is rebuilt and bay is in nice shape, clean and dry. Truck runs and drives good and has lots of power. BTW The oil spots are from my girlfriends Trail Blazer power steering pump. Ugh! As far as body, rockers are fair which could be salvaged but their cheap to replace, I does need cab corners. Frame is real nice, box bed is fair a bit wavy but solid, tailgate operates good. Cab floors are pretty solid, one small hole by drivers seat. tires and wheels are junk. Steering wheel is an after market Grant, I hate those...Needs exhaust, if I get bored I might have dual Turbos put on. All glass is good, new brake booster, no power steering, new alternator. Lights and turn signals all work. Interior needs resto. seat foam is nice and supple but needs recovering. No radio, dash is carpeted. like hippy style. There is a metal door tag on the lower drivers side jamb but it's painted over and I cant read it. Call for more info 906-869-7811 I may be able to assist with shipping.
