Vehicle Detail
I had my Jeep inspected last week and noticed I had only driven less than 300 miles in the past year. For this reason, I have decided to sell it to someone that may have more time to drive and enjoy it. Although I have had several of these Jeeps, this is by far the nicest due to the low miles and rust free body and undercarriage. This has always been a southern truck, being purchased new in Virginia from Hall Jeep Eagle. I have the original window sticker showing a sticker price of $27557.00 with most of the records documenting the mileage. The title also shows actual mileage. I had the Jeep repainted last year and it was rust free prior to paint, only surface rust underneath. No serious rust or repairs. It is always garaged and never driven in inclement weather. I've also had the driver seat leather and arm rest leather replaced. All fluids have been flushed including the transmission and radiator. I cant recall everything that's has been done, but some of the other work includes: Rear tailgate window motor rebuilt, new aftermarket dash switch installed. Works well Air Conditioning recharged. Works Well. Right front window regulator replaced. Rear Main Seal replaced. New Rear air Shocks. The truck runs well, the motor does not smoke or make odd noises and is very reliable. With only 98K, it has lots of life left in it. If it has been sitting for over a week, it takes three or four cranks to start and idles rough for a few minutes. One it's warmed up, in runs and shifts well. The more it is driven, the better it runs. I have three other antique cars, and unfortunately, I rarely have time to drive any of them. The windows have security etchings from the dealership when new. The Michelin tires have good tread left. The truck does have a few things that may need addressing if you choose to: Rear wiper inoperable, cruise control inoperable, right rear passenger door power window does not work, Power locks do not engage all doors, Oil pan gasket is leaking.(A new pan gasket is included. I did not replace it since it has new oil in it.) Overhead temp compass not working. Rear cargo carpet worn. The Jeep is in great condition for over 25 years old and is available for inspection in the Richmond area prior to bidding. Please do not bid if you can't follow through with the sale. I will assist with meeting shippers. Thanks for looking.
