Vehicle Detail

Chevrolet Chevy II Nova 2 door Sport Coupe This Chevy II Nova Super Sport is an original, 3 owner, California Black License Plate gem. It is one of if not the nicest originals left, and is VERY original and very clean. This Super Sport has been preserved with 91,384 documented miles! Car comes with original sales contract and receipt from Campbell Chevrolet in San Diego, California. Call or text if any questions. 619-889-7587. VIN 40447N178574 91,384 miles!! It was built on the second week of February, 1964. Original Owner took possession on March 31, 1964 according to copy of original sales contract. 6 cylinder, 194 CI, 155 hp 2 Dr Power steering Push button AM Radio, with Rear Speaker in working order Padded dash (uncracked) Tinted windshield and all glass Day/Night mirrorDriver outside mirrors Windshield washer, (original glass bottle, looks perfect) Aqua vinyl interior Azure Aqua “magic mirror" acrylic lacquer paint, apparently repainted once per the receipts, and looks great! Super Sport wheel coversSpare tire/original jack Front seat belts added Engine and engine compartment original STUNNING CHROME and BRIGHTWORK. This vehicle must have been garaged its entire life. All trim is in original and excellent condition, including both bumpers. Original Door/tailgate/ignition key..one key works all. All electrical and gauges in working order Runs fine, cruises fine at 65 MPH on California's freeways. Drive it anywhere (as it sips fuel). Uses unleaded fuel. Engine has had periodic maintenance over time, and as needed. This includes belts, hoses, fuel and water pump and brakes. The body is factory straight and rust free. There is one ding on the front of the hood, with a story to go along with it. Sold AS IS WHERE IS...Cash and Drive it away. It needs nothing to run well. Some items are not 100% original like the brake master cylinder, water pump, etc. Rear package tray is starting to crack and fade at the edges a bit. You will be hard pressed to find a 1964 Nova this clean and original. While it has no window sticker, it does have the original receipt and bill of sale, along with the owner's manual.Doors and windows function perfectly, as does hood and trunk, locks, etc.The interior is really clean, as is the headliner and carpet. The padding on the driver's seat was repaired. Please note: There are no obvious dents or dings in body besides a small ding on the front of the hood. Many of the photos are from before this ding occurred, but please see photo taken up close of the dent with camera lens cover for scale. Please note: The underside of the hood could use some paint and the underhood padding restored. Also, the floor of the trunk has some surface rust. It is surface rust only, and the body of the car is incredibly clean, solid and rust free. I have photos of these areas shown. I reserve the right to close the auction early if I find a suitable buyer, but I will not reveal my reserve. I will require a good faith $1000 PayPal deposit within 24 hours of sale, and the remaining payment to be made within 7 days including pickup of the vehicle. This car will not leave my possession until payment is received in full.Reserve is below market value. I will make myself available for onsite inspections if you first schedule it with me. Seriously interested folks are are welcome to do this. If you're not serious about bidding or buying, please don't waste either of our time. The vehicle will not be available for showing without first scheduling with me. On Oct-29-14 at 09:36:42 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: I made the mistake of not including any engine photos in the listing, and Ebay will not allow to add them during the auction. If you would like to see engine photos, please contact me, and I am happy to email them.On Oct-29-14 at 18:50:24 PDT, seller added the following information: ANOTHER CORRECTION: It is not a 194ci engine, but rather the L61 230ci, 155 hp engine, which is what is handwritten on the dealer receipt as well. This is shown in the photos at the following website I just created. Please take a moment to visit the following for additional photos: https://1964novass.shutterfly.com/ I will continue to add photos as needed/requested until the listing ends. Clearly indicated, is engine part#3850817, made in late 1963 ("L 14 3"). The vehicle was purchased in March of 1964, so the dates align. The wheels are also 5 lug rims all around, and original. I have replaced the interior kickpanels with reproduction ones, since the original cardboard ones were just plain old and very worn out. I have replaced them with repros since some of the photos were taken. There is no water damage on the car, except for the light surface rust between the trunk mat and the trunk that is pictured. This thing looks like it was never even driven in the rain. I have also replaced the master cylinder, water pump, and painted the thermostat housing, and replaced the battery. All were necessary repairs, and I kept the cores although none appeared to be original. The floors are pristine. Headliner is original, and is just barely starting to show some patina, but is intact, blue, and nice.
