Vehicle Detail
Beautiful Jaguar XJS Convertible finished in "Kingfisher Blue Metallic" with tan leather interior and tan top. Gorgeous color combination, the car gets a lot of looks and compliments. This car was purchased new in Southern AZ and has been here since, there is NO rust on this car, it has been garage kept and rarely even seen rain. 4.0 engine, Automatic transmission, Cold AC, Power Convertible top, Power windows, Power seats, etc. The car has just over 93,000 miles on it, and the original owner kept meticulous maintenance records. Maintained exclusively at Beaudry and Royal Jaguar (the 2 Jaguar dealers in Tucson, AZ) until around 60k miles when the second owner bought it and took it to Green Valley AZ. The paint looks beautiful and has a great shine, there are some little rock chips of course from highway driving, but over-all it looks great. The color is really unique, I tried to show how different it can look in pictures (took a few outside too) because in some lights it looks blue, sometimes dark green and most often a blue/green or "teal" color (see close-up pictures). BFG tires were installed 11-2-09 (at 86,615 miles), have less than 7k miles on them and have been garaged so they're in great shape. Recent fuel pump and rear brakes, runs and drives great. This is an amazing car and it is a pleasure to drive; however, it is a Jaguar- if you're looking at this ad, you probably know exactly what I'm saying. These cars are a different breed, if you're looking for something that runs on low-octane gas, costs $25 for an oil change, $100 for a tune-up, starts the first time- every time, and will never refuse to go outside when it's raining... you might want to look at a nice Toyota or Honda. If you're a Jag person, and you love them and know how to maintain them and keep them happy, you'll get along just fine. My Uncle has several, all the way back to his 1964 XKE and he loves them all- but he's also very familiar with the breed, likes to "tinker" and has the patience to coexist with these cars. I guess what I'm saying is, if you're buying this car as your only source of transportation to get your kid to school and yourself to work every day on time, you might want to keep looking. If you're looking for a beautiful car that handles and drives like a dream, and you can deal with the occasional finicky cat-like behavior that is the Jaguar, then this may be the car for you. Comes with its service records, factory books and manuals, 3 remotes/Jag keys, etc. Please take a look at all of the pictures, they describe it better than I can. ***You have to "Click" on the smaller picture in the upper left-hand corner in order to bring up the pictures in the Full-Size window*** EBay's recent feature, and some folks are still not familiar with it. Also, please take a minute to look at my other auctions (click on "seller's other items" at the top/right of this page) if by chance you're looking for a nice Airstream. I do have the car listed for sale locally as well, so I may end this auction in the event of a local sale in accordance with eBay's terms. ** Please feel free to contact me any time if you need any additional info, would like to come and see the car, or just have questions: 520-404-1975 cell. (Heather Anderson). I am a licensed/bonded AZ auto dealer... NOT by choice, but because here in the great state of AZ if you buy/sell more than 3 vehicles (of any kind) in any 12 month period, you have to get a license. I am a classic car and Airstream nut, I also have a ranch, wedding venue, horses, trailers, etc... let's just say I bought and sold a few too many for the state's liking, and due to the fact that they need revenue desperately- they decided to fine me when I sold a few more that what I'm "allowed", long story short- I jumped through all of their hoops and got my license. Full payment is due within 7 days of the auction's end, and the car must be picked up within 15 days of payment (unless other arrangements have been made). Certified funds, cash in person or bank wire-transfer only. Payments MUST clear before the Airstream leaves my sight. There are no "title fees" or "doc fees" like the typical dealers have because as far as I can tell, that's just a way to get an extra couple hundred dollars from someone, here in AZ it costs me $15.00 to get a temporary registration so that a buyer can drive home legally and $4.00 for a title, I think I can handle that. Please check my feedback, you'll see that I don't sell very many vehicles- but I do have 100% positive feedback on what I have sold over the years. I do NOT go to auctions and buy cars to sell, anything that I have sold or will sell either belonged to me or someone that I know or is a "consignment" type of sale. I have never liked most car dealers and am not all that thrilled to be "one of them". *** This is a USED vehicle and is being sold as-is/where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. This car is beautiful and runs great (today), but please be realistic- it is not a brand new car, and it IS a Jaguar. There will be minor imperfections in the paint and interior, and things that may need attention. If you can't make it here to see it in person, please call me and I can walk around it and point out any flaws that I notice, or things that may bother someone. I would welcome and recommend that you come see it or have a 3rd party inspection. I will make it available throughout the auction for any and all inspections, just call and we'll set up a time. Please understand that the description is only my opinion, yours may be different, I have done my best to take many pictures and describe the trailer to the best of my ability. Just remember, we all tend to look better in pictures than in person- that's just the way it is (but this trailer actually looks better in person I think). This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Great State of Arizona as they apply to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within Arizona between Arizona residents, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree that any claim or dispute you may have against Ever After Ranch Motors LLC must be resolved exclusively by a state or federal court located in Cochise County, Arizona, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within Cochise County, Arizona for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes. *** I reserve the right to end this listing at any time for any reason as the Airstream may be listed for sale locally as well.*** Payment methods accepted must be in the form of Certified funds, bank wire-transfer, or cash in person. Due to concerns of fraud, if you're paying via cashier's check, it must clear my account before the car/title leaves my sight. PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT send "Second Chance Offers"- if you get one, please report it to Ebay and do NOT respond. There is a scam going around right now that everyone should be aware of, and it involves second chance offers. Just remember, if you get any email that "says" it's from ebay, it will be in your "Ebay messages folder", if it's not there- it's probably a scam.**Taxes: Arizona Residents: Must pay Sales tax (6.1%) as we are located in Cochise County.**Any Non-Arizona Residents Using a Shipping Company: Pay No sales tax. The eBay final bid price is your price, you may have to pay taxes in your home state upon registration depending on where you live, but as long as I have a copy of a receipt/Bill of Lading from a licensed shipping company to show the state of AZ that the vehicle was picked up from me directly to be shipped out of state, you pay no tax here.**Non-Arizona (U.S) Residents Taking Delivery in Arizona: Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 42-5061(U), out of state buyers that take delivery in Arizona will pay sales tax according to their home state's tax rate. All customers who take delivery in Arizona will receive a receipt showing taxes paid in Arizona to avoid being double charged by their home state. Licensed dealers do not pay sales tax.**Non-U.S Residents Taking Delivery in Arizona: Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 42-5061(U), foreign citizens who take delivery in Arizona are subject to 6.1% state and County sales tax. Licensed dealers do not pay sales tax. Thanks for taking the time to look at my auction and good luck bidding!!
