Up for bid is my 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. It has been in storage for many years since I purchased it from the original owner and is an unfinished restoration project . I have spent a great deal of time and money to get it to this point. My intention was to keep the car visually close to stock and only install period correct upgrades while keeping its stock appearance. It has the original factory born with drive train . The 327 engine has been completely rebuilt. The block was bored .030 over. It has a steel crank that has been cut and polished .010. TRW flat top pistons and double roller chain. Melling hi pressure oil pump. Complete assembly has been balanced and blueprinted. It has a Crane cam L79 spec 350hp . Heads have been upgraded to 1.94 intake valves and exhaust has had hardened valve seats installed for unleaded fuel. They have also been surfaced and have all new guides and seals. Intake is a period correct offenhauser with new Holley 600 on top. Of course everything else is brand new as well. New starter, alternator, fuel pump, ignition coil, plugs, wires ,belts, hoses, heater core, rebuilt distributor, brand new REAL dual exhaust with turbo mufflers . Engine has less than 1 hour run time and it sounds sweet. The original automatic has been serviced and has received new front and rear seals, new filter and pan gasket and fresh fluid. Rear end has received new pinion seal , cover gasket and fluid. All the brakes are new. Brand new master cylinder, all wheel cylinders are new and all new shoes and most lines replaced. 4 brand new shocks. Tires are period correct NOS Good Year bias plys which are very difficult and expensive to find. Rear mono leafs have been upgraded to 1969 multi leafs. Interior has brand new carpet and dash.It has a period correct working am/fm 8 track. Front buckets look like new. All the hard work has been done. Currently the car is in primer and will need body work , paint , new top and general finishing of the restoration project. But all the hard work is done.There are many new parts also included with the sale such as emblems, new wheel well mouldings etc. Original jack and spare included. Also have original owners manual.These cars are very valuable once completed . So if you can not afford a done car here is your chance to get into one at a fraction of the cost of a done car.
