Vehicle Detail
I've decided to sell my last model year 1999 Eclipse GSX with 76,328 original miles. Its been a Florida car nearly its entire life and doesnt have the northern rust issues you find in most of these cars, and I am only the third owner. When I purchased it, the previous owner had just had a rebuilt 1g 6-bolt block put in, and I have only put 6,000 miles on it since. The rest of the car is mostly stock with a few exceptions. I was going to start modifying it for power when I decided I just dont have the time for a toy and school at the same time. I have installed an AGP Spearco 2-216 front mount intercooler with short route piping and an HKS SSQV BOV, a full 3" Apex'i N1 exhaust, an Evo III o2 housing, Forced Performance race exhaust manifold, and a freshly rebuilt Garrett/Mitsubishi hybrid turbo utilizing a T04B V-trim compressor and a clipped TD05 turbine. The tires need replaced, but I was pretty certain that whoever buys the car will probably be installing wheels of their liking anyway. The paint shines great, there are just a few small scratches on the left front fender and hood near the headlight, and a light and short crease in the left rear quarter panel near the tail light. Please see the pictures for details. The interior is complete and in good condition, but the sunroof shade needs some new headliner material, and I am missing the radio code. The leather seats could use a dye, but the leather is crack and wear free. The A/C blows cold, and the car pulls strong at base 15psi boost from the upgraded turbo, all you'll need are fuel upgrades and tuning. Its been pointed out to me how the badge/decal on the back says "GS" instead of "GSX". The previous owner chopped the "X" off to avoid attention from the local street racers. It's a GSX, dont let the little decal fool you ;).
