Vehicle Detail
MG TD 1953 - This is the last year the "TD's" were made. The car is partially disassembled. The chassis is complete and body has not been off. The engine and transmission are out, and the engine has been professionally rebuilt. The dash and wiring harness (needs new harness) are removed. The car was in a barn that collapsed due to old age and heavy snow load. The windshield was not installed and is not damaged but the cowl is dented, however, there is a replacement complete with good wood. The radiator shell also has a dent on the left top. There is very little rust in the body, but the wood in the sills need to be replaced. To the best of my knowledge, the car is 99% complete including the jack and lug wrench, except there are not any bumpers or side curtains and some bolts, nuts, washers, screws, etc. There are also several extra parts, including a parts engine. I also have a list of names and numbers of people that have almost everything that might be needed to complete the restoration. The car is located in Southern New England. We would prefer local pickup, but crating can be arranged at extra cost. DISCLOSURE: The odometer reads 00561, however, we believe that this is not correct number. In CT - all vehicles older that 20 years does not require a title, therefore, we are selling with a Bill of Sale required by Motor Vehicles Division. On Oct-15-14 at 11:30:23 PDT, seller added the following information: MG TD 1953 - This is the last year the "TD's" were made.
