Vehicle Detail
You are looking at an amazing 65 Mustang Fastback. This car is Nice!! and always grabs attention wherever we go. This would be a great car to either 1) Drive as is, 2) Tinker around with and do minor restoring, or 3) Convert it over to a V8 muscle car. It starts right up ever time and drives, and brakes great (I even just changed all the brake pads), As you can see by the pictures the paint is in great shape (not perfect, but really nice), and the car is solid. The transmission and clutch are strong and have no issues shifting or going into gear. The original Data Plate is still on the car and says Warranty Number: 5T09T17XXXXYear: 5 1965 Plant: T Metuchen, NJ Body Series: 09 2+2 Fastback Engine: T 200 1v I6 Unit: 17XXXX 17XXXX Miscellaneous Vehicle DataBody: 63A 2+2 Fastback, Standard Interior Color: H Caspian Blue Metallic Trim: 22 Blue Crinkle Vinyl, Standard Interior Date: 19T June 19, 1965 D.S.O: 15 Newark Axle: 3 3.20:1, Conventional Trans: 1 3-Speed Manual BODY COLOR TRIM DATE DSO AXLE TRANS WARRANTY NUMBER THIS VEHICLE IS MANUFACTURED UNDER UNITED STATES AND FOREIGN PATENTS AND PATENT APPLICATIONS A PRODUCT OF FORD MOTOR COMPANY This car is almost 50 years old so there are bound to be some items that need work. To be up front and honest: here is EVERYTHING I know that you should know when buying the car. The headliner is torn, and needs to be replaced, but it does not affect it being a daily driver so I never did anything with it, BUT I am including a NEW headliner with the car. The rear seat bottom has a tear (you can it in the picture), but I am including a NEW seat cover with the car to replace the torn one. The rear axle has a SMALL leak. It isn’t anything big, but probably just needs a new seal. The rear reverse lights are not in the car (you can see the mounting holes in the rear valance). I have an original set I will include with the car, I just never installed them. The dash has extra holes drilled in it by a previous owner for the Radio (knobs were slightly off so they drilled new holes for it to fit). The radio in it now has a cover plate that hides the extra holes. It is fine the way it is or, I could easily be patched, and I will even through in a radio dash repair panel. The car is being sold as is, so please ask any questions BEFORE you bid. Feel free to call me with any questions: (Eric) 843-760-0741
