1951 Ford F 100 "Sanford and Son" replica pickup truck. This truck is identical to the original truck from the NBC television series. The lettering was duplicated from the original truck with permission of NBC studios at the conclusion of the TV series. The truck is rustic on purpose to match the original. I purchased the truck to use in parades and car shows but do not have time to finish the project. The straight 6 engine does not run but is complete. Original 3 speed transmission included. Interior was removed for restoration but is complete in boxes. Seat was rebuilt and reupholstered in period correct black vinyl. This is truly a one of kind vehicle and an amazing piece of television history. On Oct-16-14 at 10:20:43 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: The engine was mistakenly listed as a 6 cylinder. It is the original V-8 and is complete but totally disassembled. I apologize for the error. The original radiator was also completely rebuilt by DeWitt's Radiator in Howell, Michigan at a cost of over $500 and has a new heater core. Both are still in wraps. Also has a brand new reupholstered seat at a cost of $600 by Schultz & Sons Auto Upholstery in Flint, Michigan. Pictures available of both.
