1957 Chevy Bel Air Lots of new parts: Fresh overhauled 283, 60 thousands clean up bore. Under 100 miles since overhaul!!! New water pump. New carburetor. New fuel pump. New fuel lines. New fuel tank. New battery. New hoses. New heater core. New heater water valve. New heater and vent door cables. New radial tires. New glove compartment box. Also very important complete new brake system including - new master cylinder, new brake lines, new brake hoses, new brake shoes, new wheel end hardware, drums turned and parking brake fully functional. Now for some not so good. Transmission works fine but park does not, always use parking brake. Body is very solid, but floor pans are rusted and repaired with sheet metal, same for trunk. This car is what I would call a fifty footer, looks real good from fifty feet, up close there is some minor nicks and dings, some small rust spots on bumpers. Over all would make a good driver or good base for a complete restoration. Look close at the photos there is one bumper bullet that has rust thru and the left front fender has an area of rust thru, not real bad but there.
