This car has been in my garage since 1989 when I stopped driving it. I have had this car since I was 23 years old and personally purchased it from Straub Buick in Keyport N.J. in 1987. I have all of the original documentation with it including the window sticker. No changes have been made to this car except swapping the rims out to preserve the original stock rims and adding a car alarm. This car still has the original tires 215/65/15 Goodyear Eagle GT's on it! The car has Cragar rims on it currently, when I was younger I liked the look of the GNX so I put "mock" rims on it and they are currently on them today. The original factory rims and lug nuts are part of the sale of the car and you will benefit from the fact I waxed and packed the rims and lug nuts with the center caps in newspaper in boxes, they are preserved perfectly. This car was never raced I use as a daily driver for the first year or so splitting driving duties with my 81 Turbo Trans Am. This car is now and still garage kept and has real original 14,669 miles on this car. I am very proud of this car and will answer any questions you may have I have nothing to hide. All options work such as, but not limited to: power trunk air conditioner all power locks & windows etc; trunk release; power antenna; power seats; dome lights; seat belt retractors; stereo; cruise... this car does not have T tops per my request. All weather stripping is perfect and soft as are the bumpers. This car was undercoated by Reydel Pontiac in Edison immediately after I purchased it,the car comes with original window sticker as well as with all the stickers on the doors and the trunk lid - they all look nice. Other documents included in sale: original sales brochure, owner's manual, service records (including some warranty service by the dealership). Even under the car most of the tags remain on the wiring. Interior is perfect with no wear, inside the car is as it was in the showroom. All carpet & upholstery is perfect, I just had the headliner replaced 2014 (all GM vehicles in 87 had a problem with headliners) this one was no different. The fuel tank was replaced in 2008 as this has always had fuel in it and the tank finally let go in my garage. The exhaust rear axle pipes were replaced in 2003 along with the muffler due to sitting moisture rusted them through. The AC will need to be recharged and I have the R12 and the equipment to professionally charge it. I will it prior to purchase so you know the AC works. The fuel gauge is stuck needs to be looked at.The body is the perfect, no dents or repairs ever. As you can see from the pictures, the paint reflects and is very shiny, no chips anywhere. I have video and more pictures of the car inside and out and under, will be glad to send if you have any questions or doubts. This car drives as any car with low miles would. Seat covers have been on since day 1 and the car mats from the dealer are perfect. The car has always been stored in a semi climate controlled garage part of my home again I welcome any inspection, any GM expert, to look over this car to guarantee its authenticity. I know there are allot of doubters out there however I encourage inspection prior to purchase. This car is what it is! A 1987 GN that was driven for the first year by me then taken off the road 1989 at 13,400 miles then parked in my garage. In the past 4 years I have registered it and have taken it on small trips locally bringing the mileage up to where it currently is today at 14,699. Love driving it and the looks and compliments I get again make me so proud if this car and brings me back to my youth. People that don't know what this car is just know its beautiful and the people that do know this car know understand this car was the start of the resurrection of the muscle car era. They know this isn't just a car, this is part of history. Just stepping on the gas pedal reminds you of this all of the time, just incase you forget.I have a car lift in my garage if you get serious about this car I will lift it for full inspection prior to finalizing the deal.
