Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful 1954 Chevrolet 3100 half-ton pickup with the desirable deluxe 5-window that was in storage for about 5 years . The frame and body are pretty solid and free from any major rust. She was painted before being stored. Paint and bodywork are driver quality. There are minor paint imperfections; it is not a Show Truck, but it is an eye-catching driver loaded with potential and appeal. She has an late 80s 350 4barrel motor hooked up to a Automatic transmission. The engine starts easily and runs ok, but will require tune up or rebuild to be road worthy. She has disc brakes in front and rear drums. She needs brake booster for a softer stop. She has 3” exhaust with tips coming out the side creating a nice low rumble. wiring looks to have been replaced recently, lights and turn signals work good. The radiator needs to be cleaned, sealed and pressure-tested. She has newer oak wood bed floor with matching side rails, Stainless wheels and wheel trim rings. She comes with original outside bed-mounted spare tire carrier and chrome rear bumper (both off the car) , she comes with Electric power windows that work good, newer carpet and upholstered bucket seats and A very rare hood-mounted chrome 'eagle' hood ornament finish off the classic look of this 54. The truck is not road worthy just yet..she does start and can run short distances but needs a rebuilt or tune up to have peace of mind in my opinion.... Wires, plugs, brake booster, radiator, fan all require attention or replacing. Again she will start and run..no smoke..new battery , power steering, front disc brakes, but she is not road worthy until some attention is given to her fist. Also she does come with rear bumper in good condition, as well as the spare tire carrier. I'm open to a buy it now to end auction.
