Vehicle Detail

OK, first let me say this car has a MD non repairable title so please do your home work on this before asking. It is a real X55 code SS 350. The tag is there and this came in rallye green with black stripes and non headrest bucket seats. It must have been beautiful on the showroom floor. Now it is a burnt out rolling shell. The main structure of the car is solid but the roof, trunk, hood, and tops of the fenders are heat warped. It could be used for a drag car as it's not that rusty and a good cage would tighten it up. Please know the deference between surface rust and real rust before E-mailing me with stupid the whole car is rust comments. If that's how you feel this is not the car for you and you are an idiot. It has had the quarters replaced and patch panels put in the rear floor. The engine has the proper numbers to be a 1969 engine. The block number is 3870014 and heads are 3947041. The engine has had work done but I do not the internals. What I can see is it has a nice not damaged intake, roller rockers, screw in studs with push rod guide plates, manley head bolts, deep sump drag style oil pan, headers which look like 1.5 in primaries, aftermarket balancer, and custome acc drive pulleys. The trans is a Muncie 4 speed that was not damaged or touched by the fire. It has a blow proof bell housing with block saver plate and centerforce clutch. The clutch pedal is still in the car and clutch feels great. The shifter is a hurst and it saw some fire inside the car but still works fine just needs some clean up and a new knob. Overall the shell could be used for a drag car, the transmission could be sold as is or sold as a complete stick swap into any 1st generation camaro. The engine may be something or may not but without pulling it apart I do not know. If no one bids I'll pull the drive train and offer it up in pieces.
