Black truck is the Diesel. SWB, Standard Cab, 4 speed, 4x4. Drive anywhere. Four wheel drive works great. Blue truck is the parts truck. Gas burner, SWB, 4 speed, 4x4. Both trucks have clear titles. Black truck is tagged and insured in my name. I have owned it five years and it has been 100% reliable. I don't drive it a daily because I have a company truck. It has always been ready and able for weekend duty like fishing trips and dump runs and the rare occasion where the company truck was in the shop. Fuel mileage is awesome. Cranks easy at any temp with the added manual glow plug switch. Drives good but would be even better if the power steering was added from the parts truck. AC is not working. Paint is all original except for the sides of the bed. Definitely showing its age but presentable and patina is cool? The repaint on the bedsides is not great but matches the rest of the truck pretty well. I would drive this truck anywhere but not if I was running from someone. These are steady, reliable, and a bit slow. The load height is what I will miss the most. No one builds a 4x4 you can easily load anymore. Ground clearance is not as good as the highriders but it has heavy factory skidplates under all the fragile areas. No one does that anymore either. The parts truck could be fixed but so many parts interchange I was keeping it for spares and to swap out goodies like power steering and automatic hubs. So far I have only removed or swapped incidental parts. I was able to drive the blue truck about a year before they ruined the engine. It was a great driving truck but overheated because the fan cut the radiator hose and the kids that owned it ran it till it quit. The parts truck last ran in 2012. I intended to swap out the steering components because the power steering drove so good and tight. I also meant to put the auto hubs on the diesel truck too. The engines and transmission case are different but the rest of the driveline and body components interchange so you have a spare of most components including both axles (same gear ratios), bed, bumpers, doors, and all sheetmetal. The interior of the diesel is good for the vintage but the seat has a cover to hide the cracks and the same on the dash. Carpet is a little faded. Headliner good accept it pulled away from the door tops a bit (shrinkage). The rearview mirror head is missing and I did not get around to ordering one on ebay. The big outside mirrors work fine. The inside of the bed has a mat and nice aluminum sidewall protectors. It has trailer lights and a converter box wired and has towed a small boat frequently. Deposit of $100 via paypal is not refundable.On Oct-09-14 at 09:07:26 PDT, seller added the following information: I remembered a few things not in original description: I have factory service manuals for a 1981 Luv (same exact truck) with the diesel manual that are included in the sale. The owners manual to the black truck is in the glove box and I had the owners manual to the blue truck that I think I can find. I ran out of room ror pictures so none are shown of the parts truck interior but it is rough on the inside. The floormat wore out under the drivers feet, the seats and dash are bad, the hinge broke on the glove box door, etc. Parts truck has 190k + miles. The Black (diesel) truck has a nice Sony AM/FM CD stereo with four speakers--sounds really good.
