I purchased the Honda over 10 years ago with plans to swap out the engine and transmission. I bought the VX model because it is the lightest model with a factory V-tec engine. I bought the complete swap out of California that came out of a 98 Integra Type-R from Japan that was wrecked with 11K kilometers on it. I have installed a complete Skunk2 suspension components with upper & lower tie downs. Kyb adjustable struts front & rear, and the springs are Skunk2 drag style springs. The transmission is an S-80 with the factory 4.78 final gear and upgraded the differential to a Kaaz limited slip differential and Competition stage 4 clutch.. It also has CV shafts & hubs from The Driveshaft shop that handle 650+ HP. The ball bearing Turbo setup only runs @ 7psi of boost because of the factory 11.1 to 1 compression of the engine. It has two sets of wheels. Rota slipstream 15x7.5 which, two are on the front right now with Bf-Goodrich DOT drag radials and two have never been mounted and a set of 16 inch aftermarket wheels which has Goodyears that are low on tread. I did also install a Gates blue racing timing belt because of age. My plans were to get a Hondata system with full throttle shifting and raise the boost on the turbo but I think its time to sell it and plan some good trips with my family before my kids grow up. I have drag raced it at the Street legal drags in Madras which is a 1/8 mile strip and have done 8.3 to 8.4 seconds at almost 90 mph. Even with my terrible reaction times.
