This car was completely frame off restored about 10 years ago. The car runs great and is very reliable. The glass is all in great shape except the drivers door window has a crack in it. I don't believe all the lights are working at this time. It may just be bulbs. The car has a nice gloss black shiny finish and has won trophy's at local car shows. The car was only used for 3 years after the restoration and then parked and stored the last 7 years. I just took the car out of storage and had it gone through including a carburetor rebuild. This car has an original 6 volt system although I run an 8 volt battery in it for more starting power. 6 volt bulbs can handle 8 volts of juice! The gauge cluster was completely rebuilt and all the gauges work flawlessly. The radio was completely rebuilt but I never hooked it back up once it was re-installed. I have all the receipts on all the re chroming and the rest of the entire restoration. If you research pictures of the 1939 Dodge D11 Deluxe Luxury Liner, you will find that most have signal lights on the top of the front fenders. From what I understand during the early production year of 1939 they started adding signal lights to these cars but not until after 236 cars were produced without them. From what I am told, this is one of the 236 cars.
