Here is a 1967 MGB-GT. This was the last metal dash B. Actually not a barn find, but a basement find. This car had been stored in a heated basement for the last five years. We got the car running with a minimum effort (fresh battery, new plugs, clean the carbs). The car starts , runs, drives and stops under its own power. We put some fresh gas in it, and the more it runs, the better it sounds (and smells). Car has been converted to the '68 and later full synchro transmission (non-overdrive). It has chrome wire wheels which should clean up. Under the hood appears complete, the interior is all there. Electrically, the wiring appears good, all lights and wipers work, the generator is not charging. Clutch and brakes work, but we have done nothing to the hydraulics. Tires are old. Car is basically complete, and a fine candidate for a complete restoration. Or fix it up and enjoy driving it. The body has rust bubbles in the seams at the top of the fenders front and rear as shown in the pictures. Underside looks good and solid. Car will have a Virginia state inspection or rejection sticker at the time of sale. Do NOT plan to drive this car home, it has been sitting too many years. We got it running, we make no claims of drivability. Plan to trailer it or have it shipped. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping.
