1996 Ford Bronco - Eddie Bauer Package, 4X4, 5.8L, auto, 152,8XX original miles, Tow Package Very motivated to sell! Please contact me with any questions after you have read the description in full! Description: Runs and drives excellent. Powerful and ready to pull your trailer or tree stump out of your lawn (has factory heavy-duty tow package)! A real work horse that looks good from far away, but body TLC is obviously there. This has been a very dependable truck for me, however I have too many vehicles and not enough places to put them, so this one has got to go. Interior and engine bay are exceptionally clean and well cared for (especially under my ownership). It wears the original tan leather interior that shows minor cracking, but is still very soft and comfortable. All electronics function properly except for the overhead exterior temperature reader and rear tailgate window mechanism, but still works properly with interior switch. Radio acts up every so often (powers on and off). I might have a spare factory radio somewhere. I think it's just a loose wire, but I have no time to take it all apart and look it over. The trailer hitch lights up blue and red, so it will be sold disconnected (as is in the pictures). Check with your local authorities to see if it is something they'll let you have plugged in. I have more than my asking price invested in this vehicle. My loss, your gain. Clean title in hand. Engine/Transmission: The 5.8L engine and auto transmission run beautifully. When I moved to Maine over four years ago, I drove this six hours from my previous residence without any hesitations or problems. I trailered it from Maine to where I live in CT now because it wasn't registered. Engine is exceptionally clean, especially for the mileage. Interior: I give it a 7.5- 8/10. Leather is in very fair condition (especially for the mileage) and front carpets are clean. I haven't really taken the time to detail it because it still looks good (as seen below in the photo). The back tailgate carpet is not there. The back carpet has minor stains that can probably be steam cleaned out. Body: Body is very solid underneath, but frame is rusty (as are most Bronco's and F-150's). I had an inspector look at it and he verified that it is fine and actually commented on how solid it was underneath despite the "salt rust" on the outside. I've replaced a few of the "common Bronco parts" brackets underneath that attach to the frame. Doors are repairable, tailgate I'd recommend replacing and obviously, to be perfect, new rear quarters. Recent Work: New locking hubs (manual), brakes, brake lines, front coil springs, rear shocks, front and rear brackets body/mount brackets, muffler, tailpipe, O2 sensors, and more. Over the course of my ownership, I've put in over $2500 worth of parts in it, most of which was done in the last 600 miles! Must see to appreciate! Needs: Body work, A/C recharge, tailgate window mechanism built into the lock, tires, a hose has just starting to slowly leaking transmission fluid so that will need to be replaced and blower resistor. I already did some bodywork to the rear quarters above the wheels (see last few photos).
