Hi this car is a 1986 oldsmobile cutlass 4dr sedan. This car has a blown engine due to no oil change and will need a new one. The car does not start at all the engine is done. A refurbished transmission was put in the car about 2 months before the engine blew so it doesn't have that many miles on it that i put on but as i said it was a refurbished one so i have no idea how many miles were previously put on it but i had no problems with it while i had it other than the engine there are some minor cosmetic damages the felt on the ceiling is hanging and there is a bad paint spot on the hood. with that aside while I had the car I liked it and it drives nice and is a good car if kept up. A new engine for this car runs between 2 and 3k but i had a quote for a used engine with 60,000 miles on it and it was 800 dollars for the part and 500 for labor. This would be a good project or if you can find a motor in a junk yard and do the work yourself it would be even better.
