We got a small collection of 2 BMW motorcycles and some ISDT racing items from a farm in Massachusetts. Please check out my other auctions for item from the farmer Jim! This auction is for a ready to ride, VINTAGE 1959 BMW R50 , matching # 560919 - on frame, engine and ID tag. We pulled this bike out of a Massachusetts farm. We clean 2 inches dust off the bike and tested compression at 125 PSI per calendar After re commissioned the bike, It starts with one kick, run strong, no smoke, no piston slap, very quite.. run excellent and it stop good. the engine is clean with good compression all evidence of a low mileage bike. .If you have any question or you have buy it now offer, and you are welcome to come over to inspect the R50 There is a YOUTUBE video “Barn Find 1959 Police BMW R50 motorcycle ” check it out!!!! I only have room to post 24 photos, please contact me if you require more detail photos. -Got this R50 and another R69S bikes and bunch of ISDT BMW from farmer Jim. , Bike was from Germany and still has it’s German speedometer in KM Kilometer , According to Jim the bike was brought back from Germany by his farther while serviced in oversea, and was in his barn for last 20 years. We sorted through electronic and wiring, Cleaned the oil pan and inspected the calendars, We changed all the fluid, put new set of German made HEINDENAU tires and tubes. New tool box keys, New stainless raiser and new handlebars., new brake switch, check the brake and adjusted the link arm, New Gel sealed battery, It was registered under my name and was on the road most of summer and function well with no issue to report. The bike come with Connecticut Bill of Sale ( of over 20 years old motorcycle that’s only paperwork what you will get in Connecticut) The Sale is final and it is “AS IS” and is Final with no return!! It‘s buyer’s responsibility to pick up the bike. For international or distant buyer I can arrange the profession shipping and packing to tracker boxes on buyer’s cost. A $500PayPal deposit is due within 24 hours to my PAYPAL account, balance in cash or certified funds due within 7 day. I can storage bike up to 10 days after auction end and commercial storage service available of new owner's expensive after 10 days.
