UP FOR BIDS IS A 1970 CHEVELLE FRESH OUT OF MY STORAGE. IT WAS RESTORED AT ONE POINT . STARTED LIFE AS A COLUMN SHIFT AUTO WITH 350 AND WAS CONVERTED TO A 4 SPEED MANUAL WITH BORG AND WARNER T 10, I LOOKED AT IT BUT DID NOT GO UNDER THE CAR TO GET THE CASTING NUMBERS BUT REVERSE IS OPPOSSITE FIRST GEAR SO PULL TOWARDS YOU AND BACK TO PUT ON REVERSE WHICH IS THE SAME PATTERN AS MY 68 COUGAR THAT HAS A T10. CAR RUNS AND RIVE AROUND THE BLOCK AND HAS DUAL CHERRY BOMBS AND YES THEY ARE LOUD. CAR HAS COMPLETE TRIM EXCEPT THE PASSENGER SIDE FENDER TRIM. LOOK AT ALL PICTURES AND YOU DECIDE. FLOORS ARE SOLID,TRUNK FLOOR IS SOILID EXCEPT THE REAR WHEEL WELL THAT RUSTED THROUGH. ROOF AND WINDOW SILLS ARE SOLID,DRIVER FENDER HAS RUST AND SURFACE RUST ON THE ROOF.OTHER THAN THAT,SOLID UNDERNEATH. I BOUGHT THIS CAR JUST BY LOOKING AT PICTURES AND I GOT EXCITED WHEN I SAW THE STICK SHIFT AND PEDALS,WHEN I GOT THE CAR,MY JAW DROPPED ,THE FIRST THING I SAW WHEN I LOOKED AT THE VIN WAS THE COLUMN SHIFTER AND WHEN I LOOKED AT THE DASH,I SAW THE GEAR SELECTOR SO I DECIDED TO KEEP HER IN STORAGE AND DECIDE IF I WANT TO SWAP TO AUTO OR CHANGE STEERING COLUMN TO A MANUAL COLUMN AND COVER THE SELECTOR . NOW THAT I LOOKED AT THE CAR AGAIN, I DECIDED TO SELL INSTEAD OF RESTORING BECAUSE I AM PISSED AT MYSELF FOR GETTING FOOLED . SO THERE IT IS, A 70 CHEVELLE WITH MANUAL TRANNY AND AUTO COLUMN SHIFT STILL INTACT SO YOU DECIDE IF YOU WANT IT AUTO OR MANUAL. CAR RUNS AND DRIVES. NEEDS SOME RUST REPAIR,DASH ,CARPET,HEADLINER,SAIL PANELS,SEATS RE COVERED,NEW TIRES,DOOR PANELS .IF YOU WANT IT MANUAL,YOU MAY NEED A CONSOLE TO COVER THE HUMP. LOOK AT THE PICTURES PLEASE. ENGINE STRTS RIGHT UP AND NEEDED TO WARM UP TO IDLE GOOD SO THE CARB NEEDS A REBUILD AND IT IS A QUADRAJET AND CAST IRON INTAKE . POWER STEERING WORKS AS WELL.
