Hello, When I had the bus parked in the driveways a couple years ago I would get endless notes from people that wanted to buy it even though I did not want to sell it at the time, I even had a not for sale sign. I sanded some of the rust spots and used a RUST COLORED PRIMER in areas. So, in many of the photos it may appear there is more rust than there really is due the the color of that primer paint. If you have the ability to restore this bus you could double your money, or have an awesome daily driver. As i mentioned above I have a brand new canvass soft-top and all of the rare glass. There are four windows that are broken (two replaced with plexiglass), this glass is available (mid America motor works has almost every part for these buses) as is a brand new nose panel ($289). There is sheet metal patch work on the floor of the cab on driver and passenger side. The four support bars and locking clamp/handle assembly for the soft top are included. All lights, brakes, and engine worked (roughly) when I stopped driving it. I have clean title and many receipts from local VW specialist (Always Vdub). The engine is a rebuild with less than 3000 miles on it, but I think I threw a rod. If i put a charge on the battery it runs and drives but runs rough, so you would have to have some engine work done to make daily driver. Then you better be ready for a lot of peace signs and smiles from strangers. The bus will be sold as is condition and shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Preferred method of payment is bank to bank transfer, but other methods are excepted. I have more photos if really needed.
