Vehicle Detail
Selling my 2003 GMC 2500HD pickup because I just ordered a 2015. I have added numerous items for trailer towing:Reese frame mounts for Signature Series 5th wheel or gooseneck hitches.Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller mounted in dashRetrax roll-up and locking hard bed coverAir Lift rear axle air bagsRhinoliner bed and tailgate coatingTailgate lockWestin stainless steel stepsPowervision power extendable heated camper mirrorsRear underseat storage boxSirius satellite radio hard wired into factory Bose sound system The oil and filter has always been changed at 5,000 mile intervals with Shell Rotella 15W-40. The trans oil and filters have been changed at 15-20,000 mile intervals. The tires are Michelin LTX AT2 with less than 5,000 miles on them. After hearing numerous horror stories about brake lines rusting through I replaced all lines with Classic Tube pre-formed stainless steel lines. The batteries are Interstate 6 year warranty, about 1 year old. There have never been any performance chips or programming added to truck. The truck is in very good condition with no rust. There is a scrape in the front left bumper cover (see photo) and some scratches on the tailgate, but not all the way through the paint. If you check on Carfax there is a notation of a rear end accident in 2007. A Toyota decided to run under the truck when my wife stopped, and I ended up replacing the trailer hitch receiver and trailer wiring connector with new factory parts. The Toyota didn't make out as well.
