Vehicle Detail
Here we have a real, lifetime, patina shop truck. Pull your rat rod or hotrod with vintage steel. It is a 3/4 ton Silverado, Camper Special. I am relisting due to a previous bidder not following Ebay's rules. This truck was owned by Guaranty Chev in Junction City Oregon, I believe since new. I bought it from the man who said he drove it for years and years as an employee, and then bought it for himself. I have had it for 5 years and have put about 13000 miles on it. I have included a pic of one of the Guaranty Chevy registrations.I have owned the "Arrow Garage" sign for about 12 years and usually put it on my trucks that I use around my place. This has been a good truck for me, I just don't need it anymore and don't drive it much. It was represented to me as having a later model 454 installed at the dealer. The a/c blows cold and has been converted to 134A. It has a huge Modine(?) aluminum radiator. It is running stock wheels with 16.5 tires with about 50% tread. It is nice and quiet and runs well down the road. It has trailer brakes and the bed has been sprayed with bedliner. As you can see, the drivers side door and fender looked to have been repainted many years ago. And I think the rest is original paint. There is a tiny bit of rust bubbles at the bottom of the drivers fender. I could find no rust anywhere else with the exception of where the original batteries leeched on the inner fenders (pretty typical). Otherwise it exceptionally rust free. Here is a partial list of what I have replaced while I have owned it: In the last month I replaced the battery and the alternator. It has had a new master cylinder. Shocks. Ball joints, links and bushings. Heater core (that was rough). Radiator. Module. I had a friend that just really really wanted a bench seat--and this one was equipped with a bench. At his expense, he swapped his seats, carpet, and console with me (and he said the buckets are leather). His seats were not equipped with the seat belt sensor, so the fasten seatbelt light stays on. The only other issue I can think of is the radio doesn't come on. Neither thing bothered me enough to do anything about it :)Of course it is a 37 year old truck, so there is no warranty. I am also willing to bet the miles aren't original, but I actually don't know. I do welcome inspections. (the 67 c/10 at the end of the pics I sold several years ago)Any questions don't hesitate! John
