1978 Fiat X1/9NEW CLUTCH, STRUTS, BRAKES, ALTERNATOR - NO RESERVE!!! This is a really fun little car but I've got nowhere to store it this winter, so I have to let it go. I bought it as a project and just as I got it running, I lost my winter storage. So, my loss is your gain. These cars are well-known for their excellent handling and four-wheel disc brakes, a rarity on a car this small. Also excellent on mileage. I was going to delete the front bumper but haven't had the chance to remove the mounts and adapt the front turn signals. I have the original bumper and signals; they will go with the car. THE GOOD:New clutch disc and pressure plateNew brake and clutch master cylindersNew reservoir to master supply hosesNew clutch slave cylinderNew rear calipersNew rear strutsBrand new tires - less than 100 milesNew alternatorRare A/C model (non-functional)VERY nice interior, just one torn section on the driver's sideAll glass is intact THE BAD:It's been repainted at one point, over the old paint, so there are several spots where the new paint is flaking off. Rusted in several areas underneath, and there has been a lot of body work where the rear wheel wells meet the rear grille. These cars are known for rust, and this one is no exception. I don't do body work, so I was going to farm that part out. Dash is cracked, also typical of these cars. I have more pictures of the car if you want to see anything in more detail.
