This is my 1998 Volvo T5 with the rare SE package. The SE package includes real leather stitched inserts in the doors and suede seat trim. I bought this car with a bad engine and had another 2.3 engine with less miles put in. Before this engine was put in I had everything just short of a rebuild done to it. Then, I got a hair brained scheme to put a 19T turbo charger in my 2006 Volvo V70 2.5 2WD. Wow! Now all I want to drive is the wagon. So, The T5 goes. This T5 drives well and all the work was done within the last couple hundred miles and within the last month. The engine is strong and quiet and runs great. The transmission shifts smoothly. I had planned to upgrade the turbo but have not done that. The turbo in it seems to be working fine. I needed this car to travel long distances and I have had no issues with it. The interior is very good and very clean with the usual wear issues on the driver seat, and to a lesser extent, the passenger seat. The carpets and original mats are very good to excellent. I do not smoke and do not drive cars where smoking is evident. There is no separation in the door panels as they are the real stitched leather ones. All options work as designed except the Speed Control, and I am looking into that. There are no troublesome abs lights on. The only warning light that comes on is the "Service" reminder light, and it goes out after a couple of minutes. Of course, COLD air conditioning. It's hot down here. The exterior of this car is fairly nice with only minor wear from normal use. There may be a door ding here or there and there is a scuff on the right rear bumper cover and a scuff or two on the front bumper cover.. This T5 has no rust on it or under it. The factory wheels are in very good condition. As mentioned, it sits on a nice set of Michlens. I spent a crap load of money to put this T5 back on the road and will likely lose a lot of it, but that's my loss. The headlights alone were over $500 total. I have an unnatural weakness for these cars. It needs some finishing to be perfect but I have already taken care of the major mechanicals.
