For sale is a 1972 Dodge Challenger. I'm selling it for what it is a race car not as the historic car it once was. The car is specific to the track and is not intended to be put on the street. So for what it is, it is a Challenger modified for the drag strip with a full roll cage. A set of Firestone slicks are included on a set of Centerline rims along with Alston racing tubs. The block in it now a 366 Chevy tall deck. The heads on the block are matching heads for a 366 motor with a Dart intake manifold. Valve covers are Moroso and the oil pan is Hamburger. On the front end is a one piece fiberglass nose for weight reduction. The wood in front is simply there to support the hood until it is built.If you're looking for a car to restore to original condition unfortunately I'll have to say look somewhere else, but if you are seriously interested in racing and building your own car here's a great place to start.
