Nice looking 81 Suzuki GS550. It starts, runs, rides, and stop as a motorcycle should. Recent maintence includes oil and filter change and new battery. Custom items on this bike that are not stock include, angle eye front turn signals, custome taillight, and homemade seat cover. This bike is not perfect, know defects are slight bend in handlebars, right mirror broke off at thread, some paint chips (this might be original paint or older repaint) and some pitted chrome. I also think this bike might have been dropped on its right side at one time, probably while not moving. I think this because when I got the bike it had the bend in the bars, broken right front turn signals (I replaced), bent right mirror, and the brake lever look newer then the clutch lever. Both tires have good tread. The Rear tire is a Bridgestone and does not show any dry rot. The front is a Dunlop and is starting to show some dry. As for the exhaust I don't see any noticeable signs of damage, like dents. It does have some surface rust/pitting at the header and some more rust under the bike behind a heat shield and around a cross over tube.
