Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1970 Chevelle. I bought this car in 1998. I took it off of the frame in 1999 for a total rebuild. It has had all of the suspension and body bushings replaced. It has 2" drop spindles, PST sway bars front and rear, and PST tubular control arms on the rear end. 12 bolt rear end 3:73 rear gears. 1975 454 big block that has been rebuilt in the last 12 months it has roller rockers and a comp cams roller cam and lifters, large oval port GM iron heads. The Turbo 400 transmission was rebuilt at the same time as the engine along with a new driveshaft. The body color is a 2000 GM silver, the stripes are the original dark green. On the inside the carpet, headliner, package tray and front seat covers were new in 2000. The rest of the interior panels and seat covers are original. It has aftermarket air conditioning but was a factory air car. The wheels are 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear American Racing Torque Thrust 2's with 245/45/17 front tires and 275/40/17 rear tires. When it was painted the front fenders, decklid, drivers door skin and lower rear quarters were replaced. When I bought the car it had been hit on the drivers side and the fender door and quarter were pretty messed up. It has a 20 gallon summit racing fuel cell in the trunk. There are a couple of patches on the trunk floor where some rusty areas were removed. The paint isn't perfect there are some sand scratches visible when you get real close and a few rock chips here and there from driving it. The windshield has a rock chip behind the rear view mirror. For some reason the fuel gauge is only reading 1/4 tank no matter how much fuel is in it. The car drives great and runs really well. I am selling it because it spends most of its time gathering dust in my shop and I would like it if somebody had it and enjoyed it. I am not going to give it away though so bid away. Ask any questions you want. Bear in mind this is a car that has been driven and isn't perfect. It wasn't built to be a show car it was built to drive. It is a good looking car and gets lots of looks when it's out and about. It is a car that you can take home and just start driving it. In original form it was dark green with ralley wheels, bucket seats, the floor shifter, air conditioning and power disc brakes.
