Auction is for a 1980 BMW 320i car in very nice overall shape which has a clear Colorado title and will need the engine and transmission mounted on the car. (old engine, a replacement engine and transmission are included in this auction). This car is in extremely nice shape for the year with virtually no rust, interior is also in very good shape with only a tear on the driver's seat, few cracks on the windshield and few cracks on the dash but otherwise very well preserved interior. The engine on this car had a cylinder rod blow through the block causing a hole. Engine was taken out together with the transmission, to allow a replacement engine to be placed in. I acquired the car at this stage and took it to my mechanic. He took apart the head from the replacement engine and had it rebuilt at the machine shop. I am selling the car at this stage with title in hand (title is in previous owner's name and the buyer's area, date of sale, etc is left blank). Basically, this car needs someone to put it all back together or can be used for parts (although it will be a pity, considering its nice shape). Both engines are included; the old one with the hole in the block and the replacement one (rebuilt head is not yet installed on it and will come separately). Transmission is also included. The accessories on the engines are also included and there are some new parts included as well (i noted a new clutch in the trunk). Car has AC and compressor is included. Most bolts and things needed to assemble these are in the trunk although you may need some parts to complete the assembly (e.g. some gaskets, bolts, etc). I sell this cheap, as it is, for parts, not as a running car, although you may be able to get this back on the road without much trouble. Best part, car has a clear title and emissions designed for all 50 states (hence should be able to get it titled in California once fixed). I prefer local buyers who are ready to buy. Car can be viewed at the mechanic shop in Riverside (I-215 and Alessandro Blvd area) during the hours the shop is open (since it is parked in a enclosed yard).
