I am the 3rd owner of this 1973 Candy Bacchus Green CB750K3. This is probably one of the nicest CB750's you will find on Ebay, I get compliments and conversation on nearly every ride I go on. This bike was bought new by the original owner in my home town at The Wilkes Honda shop in 1973, it still has the oval chrome dealership label on the chain guard. The second owner purchased it used in July of 1977 and I bought it from him in 2013, I photo copied a picture of the title from this owner. The bike has always been garage kept and pampered and has only been ridden 14400 miles since new. I brought it home and serviced it with new oil, plugs, checked the points and timing chain. I replaced the fork seals and oil, installed a new Honda master cylinder kit and brake caliper kit. I replaced both tubes and installed new IRC tires. The battery is also new. The tank and side covers are the original paint and the shine is excellent, the tank decal has one very small flaw that can be seen in the picture. The inside of the tank has been sealed, it wasn't needed in my opinion, just an over cautious previous owner. The tank has no leaks or rust anywhere. All the gauges work, the lights, signals, horn, starter, charging system, and even the signal beeper works great. The black frame paint is original and looks very nice. The engine covers are in nice shape. The chrome is excellent, including, wheels, fenders and etc, see the pictures. This bike runs excellent, I can kick start it with one kick and It idles great. It also runs great at speed, none of that surging, missing, or hesitating that is so frustrating. I do not have the original pipes, but this is a period correct header installed and it sounds awesome. I have owned, built, and restored several bikes and this is one of the nicest original CB's I have run across in some time. I have ridden this bike about 500 miles this summer with no issues. The bike has never been laid down or crashed. I have taken plenty of up close pictures that tell the real story, not those far away shots that lack detail in other auctions.
