Here i have a rare car indeed, a 1985 MINI MAYFAIR with factory disc brakes and tinted windows. I have just brought this car back from the UK where all cars over 3 yrs old go through a rigorous m.o.t (ministry of transport) test or inspection, this is done every 12 months and mileage is recorded, and you are given a certificate if it passes. I have these certificates from over the years and plenty of service history, bills and receipts. The car was bought from the original owner by a friend of mine for his daughter to drive as a first car. He got it through its current inspection, he put new tires, new brakes, master cylinder and a brand new electronic distributor (for reliability) and also a tune up. But being the spoiled little brat that i know her to be, she decided that she wanted a more modern car. This Mini has never been welded or been involved in any accidents, she drives like a 1 year old mini from her time. The first owner was very old and had kept it in his garage and hardly ever used it, hence the low miles. I drove it from Brunswick Georgia to my home in Clermont Florida and it went like a dream for 235 miles without a hitch. You can tell by the interior alone that is a true very low mileage car. The paintwork though, may need some attention in areas, what you would expect from a car of this age that has been sitting in a lock up garage for most of its life.
