1967 Pontiac Tempest Convertible, 326,-2 barrel, auto, 10 bolt, numbers match in the entire drivetrain. Sold and kept its entire life in Ohio along the shores of Lake Erie. All original with one repaint in the 80’s. Top is like new. Interior nice with one split along the seam on the driver’s seat. Glass and chrome very nice. Very solid. This transaction takes place at my location in Ohio. On Aug-29-14 at 18:28:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a few inquiries about rust. A valid question. This car has been in Ohio its entire existence. It will not be as clean as an Arizona car or California car. But that fact that it still exists is a testament to the care it received. When these cars were new 48 years ago they were daily drivers and were driven in the snow. Not many survive today. The floor boards, firewall and trunk pan are all solid and never patched. The frame has some rust but is still solid. Look at the additional pictures. When the car was painted the rear quarters behind the wheels were repaired. This is a common area for these cars. It was repaired but after many years the work is showing. Now there are patch panels for this area and the repair can be made much easier and cost effective. Remember this is a nice driver, not show piece. If you want a rust free show car look elsewhere.
