Vehicle Detail
1960 Chevrolet Impala Convertible, owned for nearly 20 years, stored inside and out, just never got to it. Please read description carefully, will try to cover all of it. Bought from body shop 20 years ago, was patched up and painted, and trim was removed, I am missing some small trim parts, that at this time I cannot locate. I have a very good set of front fenders, a rust free trunk lid, all of the long side chrome, the "eye brow" moldings for the front fenders. I am missing one side bird, the tips of the rear fins, the two points on the doors. I do have the small moldings that mount by the vent windows. The top assembly is very nice, the windshield header is excellent, the dash is nice. The front seat is from a Biscayne, 2 door, I do have the Impala chrome for the seat trim, the bottom of the rear seat is missing. I have both door panels arm rests and the rear convertible arm rests and the trim part for below the quarter windows. both quarter windows are cracked, the doors on the car are repairable, and open and close perfect, the rockers are solid, the floors are in need of replacement although there is quite a bit of original floor in the car. The trunk was covered over, and the original floor is underneath, just figure this car need the complete pans, over the rear axle where the top motor is mounted is excellent. The FRAME IS PERFECT WITH NO RUST, all original rims, and hubcaps. THE ENGINE IS STUCK, REPEAT STUCK FROM SITTING, DOES NOT RUN, THE CAR ROLLS FOR SHIPPING. I am sure I may not have covered everything, I have had this car for so long, I can answer any questions you have, look at the pictures, read the description and ask any questions you may have, ask before you bid, understand this is a binding contract when you bid, be prepared to buy if you bid, and also figure in what your shipping costs are from Central New Jersey, its not my problem if you don't figure that into your bid. Be serious and have the funds to complete the sale. This 1960 Impala is being sold AS IS, No Warranty Either Express or Implied, I have a100% positive feedback and want to keep it that way. No negative feedback bids will be honored, and if you are a 0 feedback you must contact me first or your bid will be rejected. Foreign buyers are welcome, I am not too far from shipping ports, and again shipping is your problem not mine. I have owned this car a long time and want to find it a home. Good luck bidding, and again ask? whatever you want. Thanks The trim tag and vin plate are correct and mounted in original locations. The original color was Ermine white, with black and white interior, a V8 auto, p.s. p.b. and power top, deluxe radio, clock, and a black cove on sides of car.On Aug-23-14 at 17:26:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Some information I forgot to include in the listing, I did not put a trunk picture, the trunk had been patched with sheet metal 20 years ago, over the original trunk, I was able to stand in it, the gas tank is still firmly attached and the trunk floor over the rear between the fender wells is in very good condition. Would post if there was room for the extra pics, if you need pics contact me.
