History on the vehicle; 3 owner vehicle, us being the 4th (currently registered under my wife’s name-it will come with a FREE Appraisal for registration/Tax/Insurance Purposes). Previous owner was a female and owned the car for around 4 years. Local Canadian Car. No accidents. I am a car enthusiast with a tiny car collection of my own, this Alfa made its way to me last fall as a trade in towards a “more practical first car for her son”-a Volvo S40 to be exact. I couldn’t say no, since I’ve always lusted after the 164 and this one being an S Model, 5 speed, Red, AND having the RARE Recaro optional interior, it was a done deal, despite all common sense and lack of room. The vehicle spent then spent the rest of the 2 months of winter under a car cover in my driveway (simply no room for it to go anywhere else, all indoor spots were taken, also a huge part of why it is being offered for sale). With spring here, it has been woken up, refreshed and it is ready to go to its next owner. Previous repairs Less than 4 years and very little mileage added since Clutch in the last 2-3 years Regular oil changes New plugs/cap/rotor Brakes are OK Smooth Engine -Good pick up. (We had the following done in the last 5K km) Valid Etest from November 2013 Fully Serviced by Pinarello motors- Alfa Expert When I got my hands on it, the following service was performed (I should still have receipts for all that) Timing Belt Service Power Steering High Pressure Hose (Common!) + PS System Flush Oil Change General Check up Many Misc hoses were replaced Radiator + System Flush Door actuator lubrication New Battery This spring; Master Slave Cylinder+ hose + system Flush Body/Exterior Condition; No Rust No Major dents/body damage A few common clear coat peeling spots on trunk and roof A few scratches it is 23 years OLD! All Plastic Cladding intact A very sharp looking car All Lights Work Performance Exhaust of some kind- Sounds INCREDIBLE! Interior Condition; Black Recaro Interior with Red stitching throughout- my understanding is it was a $10000 option when new. I would rate it Above average condition for the age of the car. Momo Steering Wheel/Shifter Knob Power Seat Adjustments all function Power Windows Work (except front pass side- intermittent-new switch?) Sunroof Works All Instrument Lights/Gauges Work Panel lights Work HVAC system works - No Idiot Lights - Carpets/Matts in good Shape Trunk carpeting in good shape Tools Present Ownership Manual and 2 keys Present Suspension/Brakes; They were all good before the winter- I can’t imagine much has changed in a few months Tires are winters with 75% -215/55/16 Momo 16” Wheels (7.5” wide) Ultimately this will continue being someone fun summer driver, you can tweak/work on it fairly easy, parts can be ordered online very easily or purchased locally. It runs and drives great, needs little in general but it is 23 years old! Having said that, you can insure it as a pleasure driver for a few hundred dollars a year! Please contact me directly.
