I have owned this car for the past 25+ years. It is a rock solid RUST FREE CAILFORNIA TRUCK. The body and paint are near perfect and have been meticulously maintained. It is black and has the straightest body lines of any El Camino I have ever seen. Everything is in good operating condition including the a/c, heater, tachometer, cowl hood , and wipers. New battery. Engine has approximately 7,000 miles since rebuild. It has been on the dyno at 550+ hp, with 425 hp to the rear wheels. I repaired two small rust areas in the panels between the doors and the rear wheel wells when I purchased the car and haven't seen any rust since. They were repaired the correct way. There are no dents, dings or scratches in the mirror like lacquer paint. Car runs very strong, will not disappoint you. Power steering, drives like a dream, no shimmies, no shakes or wandering, just straight down the road. Motor runs cool even in hot California sun, 210 degrees. Multiple show winner. Bed is in perfect condition. Front discs, rear drums. Cloth bench seat, LS6 tachometer. Ceramic coated headers, all polished aluminum valve covers, air cleaner, a/c compressor, intake manifold and more. All stainless bed trim and badging are correct and in excellent condition. New bed mat. This truck will not disappoint you. Wouldn't be afraid to drive it coast to coast. The only reason I am selling this truck is that my interests have moved from Muscle Cars to Cruisers.
