This 1941 Pontiac is in rough shape – attacked by rust and field mice. It is being sold as an entire car; I do not have the knowledge, skills, or tools to remove parts to sell separately. I bought this car in the 90’s from a coworker who was getting married. I drove it home the day I bought it, drove it around the neighborhood a few times so the kids could wave to the neighbors, and then parked it in the driveway until I’d get around to working on it. It hasn’t moved in nearly 20 years and does not run. Hoses and wires have been chewed, the undercarriage including gas tank straps have rusted away, driver’s side front wheel doesn’t turn, and tire rubber is degraded and split open, so buyer will need to transport this car on a flatbed. The photos posted for this auction are current and the tire inflation is being sustained only by the inner tubes. What this two-door, A-body, notched back, 1941 Pontiac does have going for it is that the heavy-gauge body metal has no accident damage and most of the original parts are still on the vehicle so the buyer can refurbish/restore parts or use them for patterns: original moon hubcaps impressed “PONTIAC”, most of the original exterior trim pieces including the Chief Pontiac hood ornament, all of the original glass with no cracks or holes, original beige wool upholstery, original headliner, original interior trim, knobs and handles, and original straight-6 and component placement under the hood. Purchase of this car is “as is” and “where is” and includes a valid/clear Wisconsin title for the vehicle and keys.
