This is a super rare 1998 Volvo V70 T5R wagon. It has 189,544 miles and runs well. It does have what I believe is turbo smoke coming out of the exhaust at times. I have owned many Volvos and this turbo does not seem to be putting out to it's peak. I dare say it needs to be rebuilt or changed. Other than that the car starts and runs well. I installed new plugs, wires, rotor cap and button last week. I do not know when the timing belt was changed. The transmission shifts smooth without issue. I bought this as a project car because I always wanted one but another T5 stole my attention and I do not have the time for the wagon. I also do not want to see this V70 T5R go to waste. The interior is very nice with what I think is minor wear. Except for some driver seat bolster wear the interior is excellent for a car this age. It even has the original R floor mats, which are in very good to excellent condition. It originally had the optional wood trimmed steering wheel but the wood trim is gone. Otherwise, the leather is good.All options work and, of course, the upgrade ProLogic sound system sounds awesome. There is a CD error code though. This rare Volvo needs some cosmetic attention such as paint. The front bumper cover needs repair and it needs both fog lights. The factory wheels also need a good cleaning. This 1998 Volvo V70 T5R will make a very good project car for the next owner. It is very driveable as is but I would suggest trailering it if you can. There is no warranty on it at all.
