This car is as reliable as a bolt-action rifle, never fails to start, run , and stop in all seasons. I'm a 68 year old farmer who finally just acquired the car that I had been searching for over forty years. I promised, if I got it that I would get rid of my last two (57 ford (also listed) and 59 Edsel). I drive this car over 50 miles each month, engine runs great and doesn't burn any oil. We have taken this car on many 50 to 100 mile trips. It will cruise at 65 to 70 with ease and I would drive it anywhere, but be prepared for thumbs-up and questions everywhere you stop for fuel or park. This car is as original as can be, it even has the Edsel floor mats, it was repainted once in its life. It is just as it came from the show room. Just had it to a show last week-end and it was the only Edsel there. When was the last time you saw one, especially with 47 k original miles? Anything that needed replacing was: new battery, brakes (all) including emergency cables, exhaust system, seat belts, oil filter (new for next change), new tires all the way around. Fuel tank was cleaned and carb was rebuilt two years ago. This car has 5" air vents and is actually cool inside. New door handles (exterior) and mirrors and I'm sure some extra parts that I can't remember while writing this. I am selling with No Reserve and so the last bid will win this car.
