1940 Chevrolet Coupe. This is a fully customized, completely rust free, 1940 Chevrolet Coupe. It is like it just rolled out of the shop - clean, polished, and rust free. I'm helping a friend. When this car was completed, and over $33,000 was spent for the restoration, my friend became ill. He drained the gas tank, and stored the car in covered storage. In order cover medical expenses, he is selling the car. It is a show quality car that has never been in a car show. From the stainless steel grille to the frenched rear license plate bracket, this is a professionally customized 1940 Chevy. It has a new, powerful, Crate 350 Chevrolet engine that is dependable and runs perfectly. The engine has H.E.I Distributor, 650 Edlebrock Carburetor with a custom air-cleaner - all of which are new. It has a professionally installed Mustang front end with disc brakes - all of which have been professional cleaned and painted. It has tube control arms and a 1964 Chevelle rear-end with drum brakes. The engine has custom made dual exhausts, Walker radiator with an electric fan, and all Steward Warner gauges. It has a 350 BM transmission, with a Lokar shifter on the floor. The entire electrical system is new with "painless wiring." The pedals are Billet as well as the mirrors. All the body work has been professionally designed and completed. There is over $10,000 in the paint work. There are over 40 color changes in the paint. Please look closely at all of the photos. It has lowered into the front fender headlights, frenched taillights, frenched license plate brackets in the front and rear, as well as a third brake light mounted in the top of the rear window. It has electric wipers. It has re-chromed front and rear bumpers and all of the interior garnish rails have been tastefully chromed. All of the glass is new. This is a completely restored, excellent running and a pleasure to drive, customized hotrod. It is in excellent condition and is powerful, yet easy and dependable to drive.
