Vehicle Detail
This is an original car that is a survivor but has been brought to like-new vehicle condition. It has a new top, pad, headliner and window seals (front, back, sides) using first quality materials. All glass is original. The seats have brand new covers in original material. New carpeting and insulation all around. Rust-proofing has been performed on floor pans both inside and below. There is and was no rust visible. New door panels. New Clarion radio w/ MP3, CD and new speakers in the rear (no cutting of body or door panels). All electrical components/switches work perfectly (disengaged annoying seat belt buzzer though). The car has a brand new excellent two stage (paint/clearcoat) paint job that is the original color Dupont Black L41. No bodywork, no accidents. The car was painted with all components removed so there is no "taping" around seals, etc. New rubber door seals (German), trunk seal, engine seal, engine lid seal all installed. The engine is the original fuel-injected model and was removed for painting, then re-installed with new hoses all around, belt, seals, injectors cleaned/serviced, tune-up, filters, relays, fuel line front to back, tank removed and cleaned, new fuel pump, rebuilt alternator- essentially everything in the engine was covered and now runs like new- no oil leaks or gas smell or anything. New brake lines, shoes and cylinders. Clutch serviced- no grinding or any shifting issues. Original German bumpers were re-chromed and new impact strips installed. New German running boards. Brand new tires all around. Essentially, this car was done to first quality for long-time possession, but unfortunately I need to sell it for tuition money. This is one of those cars you can buy and not have to immediately start looking for someone to fix all of the aggravating "issues" that typically come with an older car. All work was done by professionals (not me) at a very large investment level. This car is priced way below its value and will make a great vehicle for years to come.
